The Staff and the Management Committee of Manhyia Palace Museum has learnt with deep sorrow, the departure of His Excellency Prof John Evans Atta Mills, the President of the Republic of Ghana, to the land of his ancestors.

The late President was not only President for nation but also father for all and unifying factor.

His death is therefore a loss to the whole nation. The Manhyia Palace Museum on this sorrowful occasion expresses its condolences to the Government of Ghana, the wife, Dr. Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, the Son, Mr. Sam Kofi Atta Mills, the bereaved family and the good people of Ghana. We join in mourning of our late president.
