The National Liberal Club at Westminster in London (established in 1862 by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, William Gladstone) through its International Development Circle will host a major evening event, Britain and the Asante Treasure- Loot, Museums and Restitution, at which the invited speakers are:
- The former BBC Correspondent and author of The African Kingdom of Gold- Britain and the Asante TreasureBarnaby Phillips.
- Former Keeper of Ethnography at the British Museum and former Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Glasgow, Prof. Malcolm McLeod.
- The Director of the Manhyia Palace Museum, Ivor Agyeman-Duah.
